Repeat Orders Build a Fleet of 1 Ton Electric Mining Tricycles
In this September 18, 2026 customer update, HNYT reports how repeat purchases of the 1 ton electric mining tricycle have developed into a transport fleet for a mine with narrow underground roads. The customer faces muddy surfaces, standing water and numerous road sections with gradients of 5–15°. Rail transport was unsuitable for the project, so HNYT recommended a compact electric vehicle to meet the mine’s material transport needs. The customer has since purchased the model several times.

From vehicle selection to fleet procurement
The starting point was the customer’s transport route. Restricted roadway dimensions limited the space available for equipment, while mud, standing water and changing gradients complicated vehicle selection. HNYT recommended the 1 ton model because the project called for a compact body and useful carrying capacity without a rail installation. Climbing performance was a key selection consideration, alongside the actual load and road conditions.
The customer subsequently returned for further purchases and assembled a fleet for regular mine transport. This progression from equipment selection to repeated procurement shows how the model became part of the mine’s ongoing transport arrangements. For HNYT, the continuing relationship centers on supplying equipment for the same demanding application.
The accompanying factory photographs illustrate the equipment and its packing stages. They show a complete orange tricycle in the workshop, a vehicle positioned on a wooden base with lifting slings, an open crate with a wheel chock, and a closed wooden case marked HNYT-1. A separate factory-yard image shows the raised tipping body. These are supporting factory images supplied for this case; they are not photographs of the customer’s underground operation.

Matching the vehicle to the mine roads
For this customer, the practical value lies in combining a compact mine transport tricycle with a fleet approach. Several vehicles can support the mine’s recurring material movements, while the absence of a rail requirement fits the chosen transport method. Repeat purchases show that the customer has continued with this equipment choice as its transport fleet developed.
For another mine considering an underground electric tricycle, the narrowest roadway section, turning space, load per trip and gradients should be reviewed together. The reported 5–15° describes this customer’s roads, not a guaranteed fully loaded climbing rating. The standard product table lists heavy-load gradeability of ≤6°; steeper sections require confirmation of the specific configuration, permissible load and operating conditions. Water depth and drainage conditions also need to be included in the application review.
