As a versatile mid-range model, the 2JTP-1.2×1p mining hoist winch offers a perfect balance between lifting capacity and operational flexibility. It is widely used in coal, metal, and non-metal mines for medium-duty hoisting tasks. This model incorporates a dual-brake system and high-precision depth indicators, providing superior safety and positioning accuracy for complex underground transport requirements.

Lifting Capacity: 1.5 Tons (Vertical) / 2-4 Tons (Inclined)
Reel Dimensions: 1.2m Diameter : 1m Width
Wire Rope: 20mm Diameter
Lifting Speed: 2m/s
Annual Output Capacity: Suitable for mines up to 1.2 million tons

Product Overview

The JTP (Non-Explosion Proof) and JTPB (Explosion-Proof) series mining hoist winches are high-performance lifting equipment designed for vertical shafts or inclined roadways. Developed in strict accordance with national safety standards (AQ1033-2007, JB/T7888-2010), these winches are primary choices for transporting materials, equipment, and personnel in coal, metal, and non-metallic mines.
JTP Series: Standard version, typically used in surface or non-hazardous underground environments.
JTPB Series: Explosion-proof version, specifically engineered for hazardous underground environments (with safety-certified electrical components).

Key Technical Features

High-Strength Drum System

The drum is made of Q345 high-strength low-alloy steel plate. It is rolled by a plate rolling machine, then precision machined by a vertical lathe (to prevent drum eccentricity), tempered, and subjected to vibration aging treatment before assembly. After the drum is welded and formed, the welds are inspected by flaw detection, and it can be put into use only after passing the inspection.

Advanced Braking System

The new disc brake device and the hydraulic station form the braking system of the mine hoist. The pipeline adopts a ferrule-type joint for connection. The oil cylinder, piston and seals are optimally designed with reference to foreign products (ABB). The piston adopts low-temperature carbonitriding (QPQ) technology to enhance wear resistance and ensure zero leakage.

Precision Control

The PLC control system for the variable frequency electric control device of mine hoists is a core control unit built on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). It achieves precise logical control over the variable frequency speed regulation process of the hoist through industrial-grade programming. This system integrates closed-loop speed control, precise position detection, multi-speed operation modes, and fault self-diagnosis functions.

depth indication

The depth indicator in a mine hoist is a key device ensuring the accuracy and safety of hoisting operations. It can display the real-time position and operating speed of the hoisting container in the shaft, transmit depth signals to operators through mechanical or electronic means, and is equipped with an overwinding protection function.

The key difference is the working environment:
JTP (Standard): Used for surface mines or non-hazardous underground areas.
JTPB (Explosion-Proof): Specifically designed for coal mines or environments with explosive gases/dust. It features explosion-proof motors and electrical control systems with MA/KA safety certification.

You must calculate the total weight of:
The maximum load (ore, materials, or equipment).
The weight of the skip/cage.
The weight of the wire rope itself (based on the maximum depth). Refer to our technical table

Yes. However, safety regulations (AQ1033-2007) are stricter for personnel. When lifting people:
The drum-to-rope diameter ratio must meet specific safety standards.
We recommend models with a drum diameter of 1.2m or larger for personnel transport.

VFD (Variable Frequency Drive): Strongly recommended. It offers smoother starting/stopping, precise positioning, and reduces mechanical wear.

1. Application Environment: Is it for a surface mine or underground? Does it require explosion-proof certification?
2. Lifting Purpose: Will it be used for lifting materials only, or for transporting personnel as well?
3. Shaft Type: Is it a Vertical Shaft or an Inclined Roadway?(If inclined: Please specify the inclination angle (e.g., 25°).)
4. Lifting Depth/Length: The total travel distance (meters) of the container or skip.
5. Maximum Payload: The weight of the materials/equipment per trip (kg/ton).
6. Speed Requirements: Your desired lifting speed (m/s).
7. Power Supply: Your local voltage and frequency (e.g., 380V/50Hz, 440V/60Hz, etc.).

If you provide us with your shaft depth (m), inclination angle (°), and payload (kg), our engineers can provide a technical proposal and a 3D layout.
