12 ton battery electric locomotives undergo functional tests

The 12 ton battery electric locomotives have completed a series of strict functional tests. Tests included running, braking, speed control, lights, and horn.

This batch came from a gold mine customer. Their 10 ton trolley wire locomotives were upgraded to 12 ton battery-powered units. The switch brings more flexibility and efficiency to mining transport.

The locomotives now use variable frequency control instead of resistance control. This means smoother speed, faster response, and fewer failures. They also feature electric braking for safer operation.

At the customer’s request, we added a voice alarm and warning lights. These safety tools help workers stay alert and avoid risks.

With all tests passed, the 12 ton battery electric locomotives are ready to deliver reliable performance in mining projects.
